先のエクシアやデュナメスに比べるとかなり作りやすくはなっています。最近のキットは総じてスタイル面や可動は良好なので後は作りやすさや付属品とかが評価の基準になってくるかと思うのですがその点で行けば可も無く不可もなく無難な出来になっているのでないでしょうか。ただ、ガンプラの場合、変形機構を再現するとMS時のスタイルが部分的に崩れる事が多い（HGイージスやHGUCアッシマー等）のですがこのキュリオスの場合は無理がある部分は差し替えを採用した事でそれもクリアーしており、どちらの形態でも文句なしにかっこよくなっているのは嬉しい所です。

良い点
●スタイルはMS、MA両形態で良好。
●可動面はかなり動くので様々なポージングで楽しめます。
●変形他、シールドのクロー展開ギミックなども再現しつつバランスが崩れていないのはお見事。
●パーツ分けもエクシアやデュナメスよりも挟み込みをやや減らして塗装派に考慮した感が伺えます。

悪い点
●やはりABSが多用されており、しかも挟み込み部分に多いので塗装の弊害になりがち。塗装すると破損の可能性があると書いてあるけれどガンプラを趣味としてある程度長く続けている人にとっては「ガンプラは塗装する物」なのにこれは問題ではないかと思います。
●結構肉抜きが多く、MS時に目立たなくてもMAに変形させるとスカスカで目立つ部分も少なくないのは残念。パテ、プラ板で埋めてあげたいところです。

形状、ディティールはこれまでのOO HGシリーズ同様に非常に良い出来です。
安全基準のために落されているエッジをシャープにすればまさに劇中のイメージそのまま。

1/144の小スケールながら、キット発売（8話）時点で劇中未登場の
シールドのクロー展開ギミックまで再現されているのは嬉しいところ。

足首の可動範囲が意外にせまく、飛行形態での展示も考えると台座が欲しいところですが、
残念ながらキットには付属していません。

先発のユニオンフラッグやこのキュリオスのような飛行形態の存在するキットには
SEED HGや同時期のHGUCの一部に付いていた台座が付属してくれると嬉しかったのですが、
最近のキットに付属していないのは、別売りの「アクションベース」を買ってくれ、ということなのでしょう。。

スネの裏側に使用しない接続部（フタ付き）が存在しているので、
今後なんらかの拡張があるのかもしれません。

色分けは素組みではかなりキツいです。せめて腰部とアゴの赤と各部のグレーだけでも塗るとカッコよくなります。
劇中どおりに仕上げたいなら、肩アンテナ部の白とリアアーマーのオレンジ、変形時の先頭にあるカメラアイ？部のグリーンも必要だとおもいます。
