アーティストについて

1942年カナダ、ケベック州北部生まれ。母親のてほどきでピアノを始め、6歳で作曲、コンサートも10歳の時にモーツァルトの作品でデビュー。その後、パリへ留学。1968年にレコードデビュー、以降25枚を越えるアルバムを発表している。クラシックとポピュラー音楽の架け橋となる独自の音楽を築く。1984年に日本デビューを飾ったアルバム『Impression』を代表作。その後も、映画・テレビの音楽制作に携わり、jフジテレビ系列のドラマ“Age35、恋しくて”や甘い“結婚”のサウンドトラックなどを担当、フジテレビ系ドラマ「優しい時間」でのヒットも記憶に新しい、ピアノ・ヒーリングミュージックの巨匠。

私のお勧めの曲は、１「折り紙」３「美しき人生」４「夕暮れの色彩」１２「永遠に」とくに１２曲目の「永遠に」の最後の部分は彼の心のこもったピアノタッチが深く心に残りますよ。彼の他のＣＤもそうですが、彼の幸福な心象風景が曲に織り込まれていて、聴く人がとても幸せな気持ちになりますね。きっとそれは彼自身が幸せな人生を歩んできたからでしょうね。神様から与えれた才能を最高度に活かしきり、多くの人に素敵な曲でお返ししている。ありがとう、アンドレ・ギャニオン。。。。来年も日本でコンサートしてくださいね。。。
