廃盤となった作品を2枚組を2セットとして発売されたVol.2です。以前に発売された『グレートディシーバー』と内容は全く同じ。しかし当時のCD製作よりも、現在の方が断然クオリティーが上がっています。音がいい！しかも2セットに分けて発売しているので、以前発売の『グレートディシーバー』よりも買い易くなっています。当時は4枚組で1万円でした。しかし『真紅伝説』発売前に、『グレートディシーバー』を6枚組にして発売する計画があったらしいが。。。ジャケも一新。最近のクリムゾン作品でお馴染みのPj クルックが担当。買い逃した人、以前発売の『グレートディシーバー』を所有している人も買っても損はありません。Vol.1のレビューでいい事ばかり書いてしまったので、ちょっと批判的な事も指摘をすると、最近はクリムゾンのライブ音源がありふれているので聴き比べてみると解ります。ちょっと編集過多。けど内容は最高ですね。コレクターズクラブの作品の様にどんどんライブ音源を発表してくれるのはファンとしては嬉しいけど、この『グレートディシーバー』や『エピタフ』の様にまとまった作品集も発売されると嬉しいかも。しかし紙ジャケ仕様の他にもプラケース仕様でも発売して、まだクリムゾンに触れた事の無い新しいファンの獲得をすればいいのにと思いますね。。。

当然、文句は無いのですが、73年の音源をもっと聴きたいなあと。持ち歌が少ない分、インプロ主体だったようで、インプロ中にその後の曲の断片が散見しているらしいんですよね。73年前半は録音をしてないようなので、こうなると、ブートに手を出すしかないんだよな…
