キャッチーなスキットが愛らしくて楽しい「ハミング・スイッチ」、
YOURSONGISGOODとコラボした、ホーンの音が少しおまぬけでしみじみとさせられる「関白宣言」のカバーをはじめ、
にか嬢の歌唱力がよりレベルアップしたことを感じさせられる6つの曲が入ったミニアルバム。
変化自在の声が様々なシチュエーションを想起させてくれて、
もともとあった歌世界に、新たな物語を紡いでいくような、記名性が高い歌声であるにもかかわらず、
きわめてポップで、敷居が低く、難しいことなんて考えなくても楽しめるような出来に仕上がっている。
全面支持！

　彼女の「いいとこどり」ではなくて、エッセンスがふんだんに織り込まれた作品。

　収録は６曲で 価格はミニ・アルバム並み。
　しかも オリジナルは３曲で 後はカバー３曲。これって どう？
　そんな間に合わせた感じのする選曲だけれど…
　これが いい意味で期待を裏切ってくれるのだ。

　1曲1曲がすごく生きている。
　その曲が持つポテンシャルを、最大限に引き出し、声にして響かせる。
　いや、声だけじゃない。 本質はきっと構成力にあるのだろう。
　幸せマチコさん のテーマ(?) である タイトル曲は爽やかで、すぐにクセになる。
　たぶん誰でも 「あっ、これ聴いたことある」 と思うのではないだろうか。
　大胆なアレンジに染められたカバー３曲は、ほぼ新曲といってもいい仕上がり。
　あの はじめて名曲に出逢ったときの 背筋が震える感覚がある。
　
　人並みはずれた感受性と表現力を持ったボーカリスト。
　ずいぶん前に他のレビューで、作詞をしないアーティストに気持ちを乗せることはできない なんて書いたことがあったが……
　彼女の歌をはじめて聴いたときに
　「こんな人いるんだっ！」
　と驚き、正直 間違っていたことを思い知らされた。

　オリジナルをもっと聴きたければ 『二階堂和美のアルバム』 が、
　カバー曲をもっと聴きたければ 『ニカセトラ』 がオススメ。

　彼女の雰囲気にのまれて、他の作品が聴きたくなってくる名盤です。

タイトル曲の１は、日産マーチのCMソング。このことが象徴するように、基本的には、創作の主体性を放棄したミニ・アルバム。２はもちろんさだまさしのカヴァーですし、３はずっと前にできあがっていたけども、埋もれていた曲です。４はサザンのカヴァー、５は斉藤由貴のカヴァー、６はセルフカヴァー。そのため、リーフレットには、「素晴しい作詞家／作曲家の方々に敬意を込めて（二階堂和美）」との謝辞が記されています。
邦楽の場合、オリジナルと大差のないカヴァーが多いのですが、今回はそれなりに大胆な解釈、編曲が行われています。そして、全曲を通じて、二階堂和美のヴォーカルが自由に飛び跳ねるところが、聴いていてとても心地よいです。ぼく自身は、５の「卒業」がとても気に入っています。
