カバーアルバム商戦に乗せられ,数枚購入。前作に続きあまたあるカバーアルバムの中でも光を放つ一枚。

はっきり,くっきりとオリジナルの歌詞を丁寧に“踏みしめる”ような歌い方に好感が持てる。

クラシックの名曲の演奏に名器がふさわしいように,J-Pop珠玉の名曲をカバーするのに中西保志の歌声はふさわしい。

必聴。

スタンダードを購入し、良かったのでこちらも購入しました。

やっぱりいいです。中西さんの声を聴くと本当に涙が出ます。
カバーとしても最高です！
ファンでない方もぜひ聴いてください。すばらしい歌唱力です。

次は新しいオリジナルを聴きたいです。

絶品の歌声ですね。品格さえありどの曲の美しさも純度高く抽出します。それによる歌の美への再発見はシリーズの大きな魅力です。又8など女性曲でもその自然なピッチはまるで高性能エンジンの快適な高級車のようで、音楽がスーっと滑らかに流れます。この音符と音符が連なってゆくレガートやスラーの美しさこそシリーズ最大の魅力ですし、他カバーではみられない点です。

1はジャジーな編曲と中西氏の甘い声が、メロウなバーのようなエレガントさを作り出します。2は更に惚れ惚れする聴き所。品のいいアダルトな声表現が楽曲の絶妙な影を映し出し、旋律を切なく彩ります。又3でも音色に宿る繊細さが、大滝メロディの極上の美しさを描き出します。逆に4、5、6は素朴味を醸し、しっとりとした温かみに。スローな都会の悲哀、9は凄くウエットな味わい。

7は田島氏の官能さと甘美さからくる陶酔感を再現し、ソウル音楽を堪能できます。10は岡幸二郎カバーでの真直ぐな透き通り方に近く、裏声の綺麗な鳴りが注目です。11は彼の綺麗な鳴りで透明度が高くなったSAYYESに初めて出会えました。上昇音型で盛り上がるサビも、ピッチの明るさが描く孤が鮮やかで感動的ですし“SAYYES”の箇所もやはりぐっときます。冒頭のピアノ編曲も綺麗。12は最もその美声が生き生きとした表情をみせますね。メロウな中西楽曲の素敵さを知ります。
