まぁ購入するなら、合わせて１stも買って
１→２の順で聴くべきだと思うんですが、
２nd単品で見てもなかなか聴きごたえのある一枚だと思います☆
見かけ重視で中身のない”ただのキレイなお姉ちゃん”的歌手が多かったり、トラック重視になってクランク系に流れたりが(Ciaraをﾃﾞｨｽってるわけではなく)
最近多いＲ＆Ｂ界ですが、そんな中でしっかりと”歌声”というものを実感出来る
稀少な歌手です。音楽性として、HipHop Soulの女王Mary J. Bligeに一番近い後継者として
業界全体からの期待を一身に背負うという確固たるポジションを作り上げた彼女
ですが、それもまた彼女の力量のうちではないでしょうか？
彼女は歴史の人ではなく、”これから歴史になる”人です。
よってこれから、そしてこの先もＲ＆Ｂというものに携わる事を考える人には
間違いなく”知っておくべき”、”のみ込んでおくべき”人材です。

Next Maryと謳われるKeyshia Cole早くも2ndをﾄﾞﾛｯﾌﾟ。

さすが前作であれだけの注目を集めただけあって、ﾋﾞｯｸﾞﾈｰﾑが挙って参加してます。Missy ,Ron Fair,SoulShock&Karlin,Scott Storch,Rodney Jerkins,Brian-Michael Cox,Mario Winans等が製作に、絡みではLil Kim,Too Short,Anthony Hamilton,Diddyって羅列したでけで反則っぷりがうかがえますね。
しかし、安易な選択でなく彼女の持つ要素、表現したい世界に最適な人選がなされているよう。

まず、ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ通しての完成度が非常に高いことに驚かされます。泣きのﾊﾞﾗｰﾄﾞからｽﾄｰﾘﾄﾗｲｸなｱｯﾌﾟ、どれをとっても文句なしの出来。曲の配置もﾊﾞﾗﾝｽが取れていて最後まで通しで聴ける1枚。売れ線狙いのR＆POP作品とは一線を画すR&B作品。

と前置きが長くなりましたが、要はこの作品最高ってことです。

最近の新人にはあまり見られない見事な歌いっぷり。より強靭になり、どこか引っかかりのあるｳﾞｫｰｶﾙはﾘｽﾅｰの感情の直接訴えかけ、曲の持つ世界をﾘｱﾙに再現する力を備えてます。必聴。

次世代MJBと言われるこのキーシャ嬢の２ND　アルバム！！流石という一言しかでてこないのであります！冒頭のミッシーとリル　キムをFEATした＃１なんかは流石ですね。流石（さすが）歌唱力をここまでかっ！！！て感じに引き出した歌い方、センスには乾杯したいですね。そこにきてなんかゆる〜い感じのラップ（ミッシー）が入ってきていい感じです。おまえはスヌープか！！って言ってあげたくなります！！PVも観ましたが、キーシャのパンチの聴いた歌い顔も凄さが出てました。多分、高画質カメラで撮ってたら鼻の中丸見えだったでしょうね...
続いて＃２はショーン　ポールとの歌。キーシャがFEATですが、存在感は抜群です。結構前のジャ　ルールとアシャンティみたいな関係。＃３のはどーも好きになれないけど、好きな人は好きかも。＃４からは絶品のバラードナンバーがてんこ盛り！！流石MJBの２代目。そして私が嵌ってるのは表題曲のJUST　LIKE　YOUはみんながみんなキーシャに夢中になっちゃう曲！TLCのBABY×３なんかに匹敵しちゃうかも的な感じ。そして独自のソウル路線を歩むアンハミをFEATした曲もなんかキーシャからアンハミへの手紙って感じでジーンとします...
これぞR＆Bの真骨頂！！！２００７年のマストバイPART２アルバムでしょ！！！！
