石川さゆり渾身のカヴァーアルバム集。単品でシリーズ発売されていたものですが、第１集、第２集は品切れ状態で、ネットオークションでは１万円くらいの値が付いていました。移籍のこともあり、１０枚セットで手に入るとは思っていませんでした、それも結構安価で。
聴いてみるとアレンジがいいです。原典を尊重した曲もあれば、「憧れのハワイ航路」のように大胆な改変をしている曲もありますが、いずれも聞き苦しくありません。そして艶やかなさゆりさんの歌声。原典では男性が歌っていた歌も、さゆりさんの歌で聴くとまた違った魅力があります。
セット物ですので金額はそこそこお高いですが、絶対お買い得の商品だと思います。
