シュレック１がむちゃくちゃおもしろかったので、
期待して続編見ましたが、
正直あまりおもしろくないです。
新しい猫キャラでなんとか持っているものの、
テーマは１と同じで、
スケールダウンしたストーリーの焼き直しといった感じ。

１とは違うお話にしてほしかった。

　ディズニー映画の主人公たちをパロディとして登場させたり。古今東西の名作・ヒット作のパロディも満載で大爆笑しながら見れる。しかし、2作目なのでシュレックのキャラクター自体は衝撃度が弱く映画としてはアニメ映画の傑作ではなく、コメディ・アニメの傑作に終わってしまった感もある。
　非常に個性的で決してディズニー映画には出てこないであろうキャラクターを創造した所は買うが、あまりにディズニーとピクサー映画を意識しすぎな感もある。（もちろんディズニーと同じ事をやっても意味はない）
　1作目ほどの衝撃度（あの下品さ）がなく、かつ1作目を見ていないと最初から話がわからないという典型的な続編映画ですが、笑えることは笑えますので一見の価値はあります。

　完成度は前作に到底及ばないんですが、２は長靴を履いた猫に尽きます。この「猫かぶり」キャラ、特に真新しい訳ではないんですが、このシリーズに何となしに欠けていたキャラでもあり、絶対に憎めませんから。毛玉吐く所も秀逸。この役を引き受けたバンデラスは卑怯としか言いようがありません。

　全体的なことを言うと、今回も相変わらずのシュールな笑いが繰り出されていて、改めてこれが超ヒットしているのが不思議でならないシーンも多かったです。子供がこの笑いが分かるんでしょうか的な。まあでも日本にもクレヨンしんちゃんがありますからね。
　そして、またも90分を無駄なシーン無くメリハリのある脚本で引っ張り引っ張り、時に笑わせ、時に泣かせて。「見た目じゃない、ハートだ」完璧ですね。本当にこのテーマは深遠ですよ。
