カーリーと親友のペイジら6人の若者たちは、大学フットボールの試合を観戦するため長距離ドライブでスタジアムへと向かう。
途中、キャンプ場で一泊した彼らは、翌朝何者かの悪質な悪戯で車が故障してしまったことを知る。
仕方なく、この近くにあるという片田舎の町へ向かう一行。
アンブローズというその町は人影もなく、異様なほど静まりかえっていた。
ところが、これといって興味を惹くものがないその町に、なぜか立派な蝋人形館が。
そして中には、本物と見まがうばかりに生々しい蝋人形の数々。
しかしその人形には恐るべき秘密が隠されていた…。

１９５３年の名作ホラー『肉の蝋人形』をリメイクしたサスペンスホラーです。
『24　TWENTY FOUR』で人気がブレイクしたエリシャ・カスバートが主演、ホテル王の令嬢として知られるパリス・ヒルトンも絶叫してます（笑）！
しかし蝋人形の館がすごいですっっ！
聖飢魔Uが出てきそう・・・というのは冗談ですが、蝋人形って怖いですね〜！

で、意外な人がいちばん最初の犠牲者となってしまって、主人公この先大丈夫〜！？なんて思ったりして。
映画「クライモリ」みたいなドキドキ感です。
追いかけられるのって本当にイヤッッ＞＜

パリスは２００５年度ティーン・チョイス・アワードで“絶叫賞”を受賞したそうですよ！

タイトルが怖そうで興味がありなんとなく買ってみましたが、なんともおもしろい!!
男女グループが車のトラブルの為 フットボールの試合に行く事ができず ガソリンスタンドを探しに地図やナビにものっていない小さな町に出くわす。
人けもない町に立派な蝋人形館を見つける。それから悲惨な殺人劇が始まる… とても残酷で思わず叫んでしまうほどハラハラしました。 それに加えキラーの秘密もだんだんと解明されていく。 この作品の内容はよく詰まっているしとても楽しく観れました。 なんといってもびっくりしたのが偶然あの今話題の「スーパーナチュラル」のサム役のジャレッドも出ていてびっくり! スーパーナチュラル前に完成した作品ですが相変わらず演技上手〜! エンディングもこれまた偶然に大好きなマイケミカルロマンスだったし! ストーリーもよかったので最後は拍手してしまいました。 おすすめです。皆さん是非見てみてくださいな!

村人全員が蝋人形にされたというのはかなり設定に無理がありますが。
わりとホラー映画のツボをおさえているのでみられる。
ニッパーで主人公の女の子の指を引きちぎるシーンが生々しく痛かった。
最後にお祭りみたいに大騒ぎになったのが残念。
気持ちを静かにクールダウンさせる方が好みなので。
