僕はEストリートバンドと一緒のブルースが好きなので、前作「Rising」はよく聞いた。
最も気に入っている「Lonesome Day」のような感じの曲は本作にはないが、
リリースされた時期が時期だけにどこか“がんばっていた”印象の前作よりは、リラックスして演奏しているように感じるのは気のせいだろうか。

１では両サイドでリフを刻むGの音色にブレンダンの影響を感じるものの、２、３はしっかりブルース節に。
４からは音像を広げて、センスの良いアレンジでアコースティックとエレキのサウンドを絶妙にバランスさせる。
手腕は相変わらずだが、５、６が特に好きだ。
タイトル曲８、サウンドは地味だけど歌詞が深い。９、入りのベースラインからしてカッコイイ、１０だってどう聞いたっていい曲だ。

最高傑作かどうかは知らない。
ただ、相変わらず安心して聞ける、良質で誠実なロックアルバムをこのご時勢に出してくれることに対する感謝を込めて、僕は★５個をつける。

久々のﾌﾞﾙｰｽ（BOSS)のメジャーロック　一発で古き良きアメリカンロック＆２０代に戻りました。クラレンスのサックスも滲みました。かなり元気が出ます。若い人は、こういう音楽にもっと触れてほしいです。

ほんの数秒のTV-CMで本作の発売を知ったワケだけど、
そのほんの数秒このアルバムの音を聴いた時、
ぶっちゃけ「何か」が爆発しました！
翌日には既にこのジャケを手にし、

朝起きては聴き、
通学中にも聴き、
寝る時にも聴く。

というヘビロテ生活をしばらく送りました。
そして「そろそろ飽きたなぁー」として聴かなくなると、
ある日突然このアルバムの「音」を求める自分が居ます。

2000年代の名盤のひとつに数えられるアルバムでしょう♪
歌詞も重要なので是非歌詞にも目を通して下さいな！
