ピペッツはイギリス、ブライトン出身の女の子三人組。

Le TigreだとかChicks On Speedだとかああいうノリに近い気もするが、連想せずにいられないのがロネッツみたいな愛しの60'sポップスにモータウン。更にはガレージ・パンク。一聴必殺の極上パーティームジークです。

誰でも聴いた瞬間にピペッツと結婚（個人的には黒髪の子が好き）したくなるだろう。それほど素晴らしい。確信犯だと解っていてもこの魔力には逆らえない。

「自分達の好きな60年代ポップスで、“面白みのない画一的な”ボーイ・ロックに終止符を打つ」というピペッツ。
初めて聴きましたが、正直こういう音楽は好みではなく、途中で飛ばし飛ばししながら全曲聴きました。

60年代ポップス自体わからないのですが、ほんとに昔っぽい手拍子とか入ってるような明るいメロディラインでキラキラした楽しさが。
ELLEなどのファッション誌で評価されてたり、世界的には人気らしいですよ。
日本だと、おしゃれにこだわりを持っている方が好みそうな音楽ですね。
キーワードは、レトロ、キッチュ、ガーリー、という感じ、例えばジル・スチュアートとかでBGMにしても似合いそう。
あまり参考になってなくて申し訳ありませんが、何分ボキャブラリーが・・・。
そうですね、以前ドラマ「ストロベリー・オン・ザ・ショートケーキ」のテーマソングがアバでしたが、ああいう感じがお好きな方にはいいかもしれません。
メンバーの中のプラチナブロンドの子は美人さんで、個人的に好みです（笑）。

こういう復古的な…流行ってるんだろうか?奇しくも同時期にlucky soulが1stを出して、聞き比べてしまったのがピペッツの不幸。lucky soulの方が深く研究しているし徹底している。ピペッツは中途半端。声色がオマージュされていないのが致命的で、適当にオーディションして、本当はミュージカル志望のオネーチャンを寄せ集めた感じがする。是非lucky soulを聞いてみてください。
