5.0 out of 5 stars 非の打ち所のない演奏, 2007/12/15
　シェリングによるヴィターリのシャコンヌの演奏が聴きたくてずいぶん前に買った。わたしはこの演奏がとても大好きで、頻繁にＣＤを再生させる。この演奏の素晴らしさを言葉で説明するのは難しいが、わたしが特に好きなのは次の点だ。

　それは、シェリングの演奏が実に自然でどこにも無理がないことだ。この曲にはトリルやダブルストップ、装飾音符などがたくさん出てくるが、シェリングの演奏にはどこにも不自然な点がない。

　他の人の録音を聴くと、トリルの前後でリズムが揺らいだり、リズムを気にする余りトリルがゆるくなったり、ダブルストップのビブラートが弱かったり、装飾音符の響かせ方が不自然に感じることがあって物足りない。

　わたしは、細かく刻まれたトリルがきっかりリズムの中に収まっているかどうかを気にしてしまう。シェリングの演奏は非の打ち所がどこにもなく、心から楽しむことができる。

ヘンリク・シェリングのヴァイオリンの音は、一般的には「美音」とされているが、これこそ、一般的な評価基準が悪趣味さに立脚していることを示すものである。
小品集の演奏なのだが、語り口に柔らかさがまったくなく、悪い意味で教科書的である。
