3.0 out of 5 stars 「いつか」は地味だけど純粋に良い曲, 2008/5/20
「いつか」は、昭和の古い歌謡曲のような、どこか四畳半フォーク的な匂いも持つ、もの寂しくてどこか懐かしいバラード。犬神サーカス団らしい、「陽炎」等を彷彿とさせる美しくて泣ける曲。アルバムの最後に入っていそうな。ただ、ものすごく正統派、悪く言えばすごく普通。この曲がフルアルバムの中の一曲だとしたら、純粋に良い曲だなと思ったでしょうが、シングルとして聞くと物足りなさを感じてしまいます。
「運命」はハードに疾走。男を弄んでいた女が、残酷な運命によって転落していく姿を描いた歌詞。いかにもメジャー以降の犬神サーカス団っぽい曲。なぜか、間奏は様式美、クサメタル風で、パッヘルベルの「カノン」を奏でるクラシカルなギターソロ。こういうの好きだけど、曲の雰囲気に全然合ってない（笑）。どういう意図なんだろう…ギャグ？というか、何の理由もなく、ただやりたかっただけか？ある意味、筋肉少女帯からの血筋を感じさせます。
「餓鬼」は「知らない題名だなあ…昔の曲にこんなのあったっけ？」と思いながら再生してみたら「電車の歌」だったので驚いた。正式なタイトルって「餓鬼」だったんですね。犬神サーカス団の94年作「御霊前」収録の組曲「黒卵之腐」の一部分（1:05〜5:17、「電車の歌」と呼ばれていた部分）を抜き出し再録したもの。原曲はキーボードがあって混沌としたムード、有機生命体の「ウミガメモドキ（ニセウミガメに捧ぐ）」に似てるなあ…とか思って聞いていたのですが、今回の再録ではキーボードがなくなってよりハードでヘヴィな印象に。語りと叫び中心。電車事故の中、大惨劇の情景をグロテスクに描いた詩。転がる目玉、千切れた手足、胃液、血みどろ、目も眩みそうな美しい光景。生きのびるために、まだ生気の残る人肉を食らう。

CDは持ってませんが、タイトル曲をダウンロードして聞きました。いい曲です。ジャケットのネタ元知ってる人いたら教えてほしいですね。他の四枚はわかるんですけど...
