キヤノンKissX2で使用しています。
購入の際はタムロンの18-270も候補に挙がっていましたが、キットレンズの55-250を使用していましたので、「より望遠を」ということでこちらにしました。

なにより驚いたのがこのレンズ、というかタムロンのVC。
店頭でも試したのですが、あらためて覗いてみるとファインダーの中で画像が、「ピタッ」ではなく「ガチッ」と止まる感じ。
キットレンズでも手ぶれは抑えられましたが、それを凌いでいるのではないでしょうか？
個人的にはISよりも強力だと思います。

強力な手ぶれ補正、そしてこれ１本でいろいろ撮れる融通性。

撮影がより楽しくなりそうです。

EOS40Dと5Dで使用しています。A060を使っていましたが、このくらいの望遠では手振れ補正機能機能は是非欲しい機能。
またAPS-Cと35mm両サイズに使えるのがGood。
ただ40DでAIサーボAFモードでは連写スピードが遅くなるのが残念。で星４つ。

幼稚園児の子どもの運動会に300mm程度の望遠が欲しかったのと、土埃の舞うグラウンドでレンズ交換をしたくないと思い購入しました。

作品撮りに使えるかと言われればYESとは言い難いですが、フレアやゴースト、色にじみも（高倍率ズームの割りには）よく抑え込まれています。まあ、運動会の記録であれば申し分ない性能といえるんじゃないでしょうか？
そして何よりVC。手ぶれ補正はキヤノン純正のISと比べても全く遜色ありません。
以前友人に借りた28-300Lと比べても画質では全く敵いませんが、小型軽量安価＋手ぶれ補正で運動会ではむしろこちらの方が向いているのではないかと思えるほどです。
ただAFのスピードは全く勝負になりませんので、子どもが小学校に上がってグラウンドも広くなり動きも激しくなると厳しくなるかも知れません。
