今回の新曲は、沢尻エリカさん主演の映画「クローズド・ノート」の主題歌で、YUIさん曰く、台本と原作を読んで一気に書き上げた自信作だそうです。
この曲は、壮大なバラードで、映画の良さを引き出してくれる曲だと思います。
カップリングの「Jam」は「LOVE&TRUTH」とは対照的で、ロックな感じに仕上がっており、ライブなどでかなり盛り上がるような曲です。

限定のDVDは、あくまで「クローズド・ノート」ヴァージョンと
言うことで、YUIは映っていません！！「エリカ姫」と竹内結子
さんファンならいいかも・・・映画の予告ですから。YUIファン
なら通常版でいいと思います。「JAM」いいです。

映画「クローズド・ノート」主題歌となります。
ここ最近ポップな曲が多かったですが「LOVE&TRUTH」は久しぶりにせつないＹＵＩの声が
表現されています。
特に「あいのうたを聴かせてよ」のくだりを聞いていると声の使い方がうまいなぁと感じました。
これから秋に向けぴったりじゃないでしょうか。

「Jam」は詞がこれYUIが書いたのか？と思いました。
ちょっとワイルドでざらついた感じがいいです。

タイプが違う曲が収録されてるので楽しめると思います。

PVはYUIは出てなく映画のイメージPVとなってます。
映画に興味ある方はこちらをお勧めします。
