アーティストについて

大阪生まれ、オレゴン育ち。
イタリア系アメリカ人の父と、岸和田系関西人の母を持つ
生まれながらのクロスオーバー・アーティスト。

2006年11月にtearbridge internationalよりデビュー。
スカをバックボーンに全てをクロスオーバーさせたグルーヴ・ミュージックと、
BASS/VOCALスタイルでの圧倒的なステージ・アピアランスでライヴハウスやクラブシーンを中心にオーディエンスを拡大中。

前作から約一年。。。
まさに待望となるNew Mini Album！

プロデューサーに8ottoやThe Strokes、FAT JOEらを手がけてきたヨシオカ・トシカズを起用。
完全一発録りで到達した生々しいまでのグルーヴ感で、全てをクロスオーバーさせた渾身の5曲は、NEW RAVEに沸くUKシーンにも通ずる、ひたすら踊れるグルーヴ・ミュージックを展開しています。

ゲスト・コーラスにはbinyl recordsよりメジャーデビューを果たしたKATも参加し、美声を披露しています。

8ottoファンはもちろん、Dance Music好きにもお勧めできる一枚ですよ！

シンプルな、無機質な感じの漂うメロディに聴き入ってしまう。
ギターロック的な雰囲気もどことなく漂わせながらも、女性Vo.のハミングなど、
一曲の中でも柔らかさと硬質感を織り交ぜて、物凄く密度の濃いミニアルバムになっています。
たった5曲、20分にも満たない作品ですが、邦楽の枠を超えたアルバムとして是非聴いておきたい一枚です。

全体的に高速ラップがカッコよすぎるんですが、THE QUESTの一瞬入る無音部分は、
その瞬間息が止まりそうなほどのシリアスさを感じると思います。
ちなみにアルバムにはTHE QUESTのPVが付いてます。

いつの間にか、体が動き出す音が満載のminiアルバムです。
ライブで聴くも良し、
家で聴くも良し、
車で聴くも良し、
ヘッドフォンでじっくり聴くとまた新しい音が聴こえてきます。
