携帯ゲーム機に超小型ディスクを採用したPSPにはUMDドライブといってかなり小型のドライブが搭載されていますが、その中のピックアップユニットは普段の開け閉めやUMDについたホコリでレンズにホコリがつきやすいですが、この製品ならその汚れたレンズをきれいにすることができます。
これをPSPにセットするとガーと音とともに中のクリーニングヘッドが小刻みに振動して汚れを取ってくれます。（約五秒間くらいでよいです。）
＊くれぐれもこのときPSPの電源は切っておいてください。
電源を入れたままにするとディスクを認識するためにドライブが作動し最悪の場合UMDドライブが壊れます。

これを使った後すこしロードがスムーズになったような気がします。
レンズが汚れるとドライブにも負担がかかるのでぜひPSPをお持ちの方は試してみては。

PSPを買って、まだ1ヶ月ちょっとで…読み取れるUMDと、読み取れないUMDとが出てきて…ゲーム専門店に行って相談していろいろやってもらいましたが原因が分からず…「SONYに修理に出した方がいいかもしれないですね…」と言われ、修理に出す前にダメ元で、この商品を購入して試したところ一発で治りました!もしも、そんな症状が出てしまった方は試してみて下さい♪
