薦められて買ったゲームに、見事どっぷりハマリました。
グロさが話題になりがちですが、これほど時間を忘れるゲームは
久しぶりです。ドアを開けるときの緊張感、地下空間で感じる
圧迫感、フィールドでも何かしら油断できない世界。
当たり前のことをきちんと作りこんでいるなぁ、と感じる次第。

万人には薦められませんが、こういう楽しさをもっと体験したいなぁ、
と思わせる出来栄え。 大人ゲーマーにお勧めです。

ゲーム開始時、性別、人種、顔の編集が出来る。

敵を倒す、新しい町や洞窟や場所を見つける、クエストを達成する、開錠する、地雷を処理するなどで経験値を得る。
レベルアップしたときに好きなスキル、ステータスを伸ばしていく。

荒廃した世界を父を追いに冒険に出かけるってのがメインストーリー。
その間、さまざまなNPCとのやり取りがあり、意識しないうちにストーリーが分岐していきます。

残酷表現について
残酷表現については目玉、脳みそ、内臓、にいたるまで描写されています。追い討ちも出来ます。世界一の残酷表現。人にもよるけど、英語が出来なくてもこれを目的に購入を決めても損はしない。

英語について
会話が膨大にあり、選択肢も多い。英語がちょっと出来る程度では不足、ネイティブに近い英語力が必要。コンシューマー版もやってますが、ストーリーやNPCの会話も興味深いものが多いので、素直にそちらがいいかもしれません。音声もローカライズされてますから。

MODについて
発売から半年以上経つので量、質ともに上がってきています。日本語化は少しおくれてるようです。自キャラをヌードにするくらいなら余裕です。


動作環境
推奨スペックを満たしていれば、箱版と同じか、それ以上のグラフィックで遊べます。
軽いほうだとおもいます。360コントローラーを使うことでコンシューマー機と同じ操作で遊べます。

I have many fond memories or playing Fallout 1 & 2 and was unsure as to how the game would turn out in different hands in the real time style.

Bethesda have done an amazing job & this game just blows me away each time I load it up. PC wise visually is amazing, the music, sound effects and interaction level are amazing. VATS system is perfect as is ability to run n gun. This game will have you going to bed way too late, making excuses not to go outside & loving every minute of it!!!

THE best RPG ever, and not one dwarf or magician in sight. Play the game style you prefer, be as good or evil as you wish and prepare to bunker down for the best RPG game ever made with some excellent FPS elements.

Also recommend getting the hardcover version of the game guide, "Fallout 3 Official Game Guide - Collector's edition" Don't read past the character creation until after you have played through once!
