　嫁の勧めで一緒に見たレンタルＤＶＤ。確かに見たかった映画ではあるが、個人的にはなんとなく否定的であったと思う。なぜならば、今までの音楽映画に期待以上の感動を覚えたことがなかったからだ。（いくつかを除いて）
　だが、これは違う。感動といっていいのか、なんといっていいのか。何か引き込まれる。ストーリーもいいとは思うが、何よりも映画の中の音楽に引き込まれてしまう。とりあえず、百聞は一見にしかず。映画を見てからでも楽しめるし、ただこの曲自体も楽しめる。いいアルバムだと思う。あくまで個人的見解だけれどもね。

　寒々しさと温かさ。静けさと激しさ。相反するものの同居が、（おそらく）映画のテーマである「喪失と再生」を表現し、不思議な感動を湧き上がらせてくれます。
　僕は彼らの音楽に触れるのはこれが初めて。何の予備知識もありませんが、シンプルな音作りと人間臭さ丸出しのヴォーカルに、これほどまでに魂揺さぶられることに深い感動を覚えました。

　この作品をチェックする多くの方は、映画に感動した方と想像します。そんな皆様。この作品は必携です。あの感動を、あの感覚を、いつでも手元に。

　おまけＤＶＤとセットのエディションも発売されています。リージョン・フリー。日本の機器でも視聴可能です。楽曲４曲とドキュメンタリーが収録されています。買うなら「２枚組」をオススメします。【残念ながら、売り切れてしまったようです。】
