空洞です。このアルバムは、質のいい曲を、ただ単に一つのdiscに収めただけではない、と思います。

今までだと、例えば「発光体だけ」「ズックにロックだけ」「ラメパンだけ」、というような聞き方もできました。

『空洞です』はそれができません。まさにアルバム自体が、たった１つのトンネルです。入り口は一つ。出口も一つ。
入り口から入ったら、あとはもう出口から出るしかないのです。

トンネルの中は、生暖かい風が…。癒されもせず、傷つきもせず。ただ抵抗することもなく音にやられるのみ。


ＣＤを聞く。１回目、過去の歴史にとらわれない大胆なアプローチにびっくりして、２回目、具体的にどこがいいのかな？と思い、３回目、変な曲たちだなあ、と思っている間に４回目を聞いてしまうのです。

昨今の、i　podに代表される、曲単位での視聴スタイル。
『そこそこいい曲』の切り売り。着うた。アルバムの売れなくなった日本。

あなたは『たった一度きり、再生ボタンを押せばいい』のです。押せばもう、空洞です。


２、３回聞けば、もう中毒です。トンネルの出口は、入り口につながっているんです。

無機質なものを想像していましたが、案外スウィートな感じです。歌モノもありますし。
が、この作品、何回聴いても満足しません。なんか聴き足りないっていう感じではないですよね…一緒に買ったCDそっちのけで聴いてます。
…いつの間にか私も空洞にされてしまったのでしょうか？
聴いても聴いてもスーッと通り抜けていってしまう様です。だからいつまでも満足できないんですかね？
自分でも不思議な感覚に陥っています。この感じ、坂本氏のねらい通りなのかもしれません(笑)
こんなんでレビューどころでは無いのかもしれませんが、ひとりでも多くの人にこの感覚を共有してほしいという気持ちで、この作品を｢なんとなく｣おすすめします。

「学校へ行ってきます」が凄い。学校行きたくなさそうな、テンション低い感情の無い歌い方。
絶対学校までたどり着けなさそうなヤバイ雰囲気が漂ってる、恐怖の一曲。でも、その後の「ひとりぼっちの人工衛星」の穏やかで優しい雰囲気に救われた感じになる。
最後の「空洞です」は、聴く前は空虚で寂しい曲（前作の「宇宙人の引越し」みたいな）かと思ってたけど、予想に反してこのアルバムのなかで一番メロディアスで、美しい曲だった。もうこの曲が頭から離れないです（笑。

今回のアルバム、今までで一番気持ち悪いんじゃないかと思う。「できない」の、"できない"連呼するとことか、「やさしい動物」の"叫んでくーれー　歌ってくーれー"のとことか(笑。
「なんとなく夢を」と「美しい」は、シングルとは全然別物になってます。特に「美しい」は、全然美しくない！(笑。
もともと人を選ぶゆらゆら帝国の音楽ですが、今回のはさらに人を選ぶ内容じゃないかと思う。
でも、一度はまるともう抜け出せなくなる。
もうこれはただの音楽ＣＤという域を超えて、ある種の芸術作品なんじゃないかと思う。絵画や彫刻のような。わかる人にはわかるっていうか。

うまく言えないけど、とりあえず「空洞です」は最高ですとだけ言っておきます。
