キャロル・キング待望の紙ジャケ。本作は04年に発売された日本盤プラケースのＤＳＤマスタリングと違って新たに米でリマスタリングされたもの。リマスターはスーパーヴァイザーが Bob Irwin、エンジニアが Vic Anesiniでボーナス・トラックが１曲追加されている（本紙ジャケ・シリーズでは『Tapestry』『Really Rosie』『Greatest Hits』は99年リマスター盤仕様、他が07年最新リマスター盤となっている）。本作の紙ジャケは紙質が少し厚ぼったくリトル・フィートなどのワーナー系紙ジャケと同様で少々残念だが、内袋・レーベルデザインはしっかり再現されている。日本先行発売（？）の新リマスターだけにキャロル・ファンは買いでしょう。

70年代のシンガー／ソングライターのムーヴメントをキャロル・キングとともにけん引したジェームス・テイラーが、前作、前々作に引き続き参加。楽曲面から言うと、前作『つづれおり』のほうがインパクトが強いのですが、でも、今のハードディスク・レコーディングからは考えられないバックの生の演奏力では、この『ミュージック』のほうがまさっていると思います。これぞ、ロックンロール。2007年最新リマスタリング。

私は、朝妻さんのポップスに対する熱意に好感いたします。
というより、キャロル・キングの来日、本当におめでとうございます。
このアルバムでは、バーブラ・ストライザンドも歌っているWHERE YOU LEAD is favorite tune,
and,

ほかに来日して欲しいのは、フランキー・ヴァリ（four seasons) 、不可能なボストン、
それと最近はまっているフレンチ歌手のヴァレリー・ルリオや、オリヴィア・ルイーズ、
それにエイミー・ワインハウス。如何でしょう？
