いきなりヘビーかつファンキーなギターサウンドに圧倒される
Spaceship Racesからしてそうなのだが、

このソロ第1作はどこか暗さと重さと、従って地味さを内包しているためか
ほとんど無視されがちなのだが、

つづれおり（は聴きすぎてしまったので）や意外に人気の高いミュージックよりも
近頃では手応えを感じるのは私だけであろうか、（あるのかもしれないが）

To Loveのような軽い曲もあるが

What Have You Got To Lose、Raspberry JamのようなJAZZ風味の技巧的な曲

No Easy Way Down、Child Of Mine、Goin' Back、Eventually、
Can't You Be Realなど情感そそるカントリー調はどことなくThe Cityの名残が色濃い。

そしてローラニーロもカバーした名曲Up On The Roofもこの盤に入っているのだ。
（アレンジがややくさいが）

ここでのキャロルはジャケも含めいつになく華奢でやや寂しげだが、
その分なんとなくそばにいてあげたい感じがする。
