初めてｉｐｏｄを買いました。始めはもっと高性能のｎａｎｏを買おうと思ってましたが、
故障の不安や、使わなくなった場合などを考えると、三分の一の価格で
済むというのは魅力的でshuffleを選びました。
実際の使用感のほうですが、思った以上に小さくて重量感もあって頑丈です。
音質も全然問題ないです。　壊れてもこの値段なら気軽に買い換えられますし、
ｎａｎｏのように画面が汚れるのを気にする必要もありません。
クリップのおかげで、どこでも気楽に使えて便利です。
必要十分な機能がきちんと備わっているので、初心者ならではの不安は解消しました。
買って後悔するようなところはなかったです。

4.0 out of 5 stars 無駄を極限にそぎ落とした音楽を聴くためのプレイヤー, 2009/3/15
秋にnanoを買う予定ですが、ウォーキング時や掃除をしながらちょこっと音楽を聴くために、クリップがついて携帯性にすぐれたこちらもほしくなり、購入しました。
iPod shuffleは新しい機種が出たようですが、4GBは目的から考えるとちょっと多すぎなため、あえてこちらを買いました。

ただ、本当に聴きたい曲のみを持ち歩きたい私にとっては1GBは思った以上に容量十分であり、今は通勤時も50曲ほど入れ、持ち歩いています。
一応、とりあえず曲を入れて聴くのに必要な一式は入っていますが、充電はPCからしかできませんので、コンセントから充電したい場合は別売りのアダプターが必要です。
また、操作はいたってシンプル。スィッチ、再生/一時停止、音量の上下、シャッフルか通常再生かの切替ボタンぐらいですね。
確かに｢1曲リピート機能｣がついていませんし、今聴きたい曲を選ぶのに1曲ずつ頭出ししないとわからないという不便さはありますが、それ以上に、シャッフル機能の｢次に何がかかるかわからない｣というワクワクした面白さに目覚めています。
音質は最近の他のプレイヤーを知らないので、これが音質がいいとも悪いとも言えませんが、とりあえず今の私には必要十分かと。
ただ、｢1曲リピート｣や、｢少しだけ戻って聴く｣という機能がついていないのは、英会話の勉強には少し不便かも。
でも音楽プレイヤーとして、｢聞こえてくる音楽にひたすら耳を傾ける｣という、音楽本来の聴き方をするためには、これで十分だと思います。

去年の夏にipod shuffleを購入しました。
これが欲しくて購入したわけじゃありませんでした。
むしろディスプレイのないshuffleなんて、不便に違いないと思ってたくらいでした。

それまで使っていた第3世代20GBが突如故障してしまったのです。
秋には新型ipodが出る噂があったので、新しいipodが出るまでの繋ぎのつもりで
仕方なくshuffleを購入したのです。

しかし、実際使ってみてすっかりその小ささと軽さの虜になってしまいました。
たしかに容量は今までのipodに比べればかなり少ないけれど、一日で聞く音楽の数なんて限られているし
毎日PCを立ち上げているので、曲の入れ替えはその都度やればいいわけだし…
クリップがついてるのでポケットのない服の時も困らないし、とにかく軽いので
ポケットに入れたとき、ジャケットの片方が重くなるなんてこともないんです。
本体自体が軽いので、万が一落としても壊れません（笑）
ボタンもとても操作しやすく、手探りで簡単にすべて操作できる点も優れています。

shuffleを使い始めてからこの軽さにすっかり魅了されて、重たいipodを持ち歩く気がすっかり失せてしまいました（笑）
ipod classic80GBは…結局買っていません；

欠点はとても小さいのでうっかりバッグの中でヘッドホンと離れてしまった時、
本体を探すのが大変というくらいです。

気になる音質も外で聞くにはこれで十分だと思います。
荷物を軽くしたい人にはおすすめです。
