この演奏者のものは初めて聴いたのですが、これはなかなかいいです。
愛情あふれる表現で、女性的だが、決して弱弱しくはない。
力強さ、厳しさ、孤高さとは無縁だが、選曲から考えてマイナスではない。
一音一音が明晰なタッチで、これはこの演奏者の優れた技術の賜物。
テレビ露出度が高く、なかばタレント化しているような演奏者とはレベルが違う。
録音も良く、へたなSACD盤よりもいいと感じました。

以前実演を聞いたことがあり、ジャケ写類から受ける印象とはまるで違う骨太な音楽を作る演奏者だということは知っていました。このような小品集でもしっかりした音楽の土台があり、心が落ち着きます。トロイメライで聞く母性的な表現もリスト編の献呈で聞く豊かな歌も、決して甘いロマンチシズムにまで陥ることがありません。

1989年から2005年まで幅広い時代の演奏が収められていますが、演奏者の円熟と同時に録音技術の進歩も伺え、2005年の新録音、特に英雄ポロネーズは目の覚めるようなサウンドです。一音一音明晰なタッチで弾く演奏者のスタイルをよく表現しています。

仲道さんのCDは初めて買ったが、音・響きが素晴らしかった。ペダル控えめなので音にごまかしがなく、音楽が細部まで明瞭に聴き取れて快感だ。ペダルの少ないピアニストの中には、潤いが乏しく物足りない音になってしまっている人がいる。しかし仲道さんは、一音一音に優しい潤いがある。ペダルに頼らなくても潤いのある音を出せるのは、大きな武器だ。
仲道さんの音・音楽性が最もハマっていたのは、シューマンだと思った。トロイメライの音の美しさは只事ではない。最高のトロイメライに敬意を表して星5つ。
ショパンも、優しい潤いとベトつかない響きで、なかなか良かった。
