ここでは理央との初対決、主に３人が過激気（スーパーゲキレンジャーの変身）を習得する修行がメインになってくるかと思います。正直悪役（後に味方になるが・・・）の２人である理央とメレは結構ポジション的にも悪くなかったですし、キャラも凄く気にいっております！！

正直、過激気の習得で苦手分野での対決で最初は苦戦してた３人ですが、改めて見ると、３人のトライアングルの大切さを感じました。結構ゲキレンは半分は大人向けなので私も結構はまってます。

バージョンアップ前夜（？）の激しい攻防戦が収録された巻です。
特筆すべきは「第20話ギチョギチョ!トライアングル対抗戦」。
各々の苦手分野を課題にされ苦心惨憺する３人の姿が実に巧みに
演出されていきます。

修行の目的を理解出来ず、投げ出してしまうジャン。
苦境の中でも常に前向きのラン。
そして何より”イヤミな天才肌”であったはずのレツの決死の挑戦。
過去の戦隊メンバーと比べて、いささか地味だった３人がこの修行を契機に
急激に輝き始めるように感じたのは私だけでしょうか。
寄せ集め風味だった３人がまさに「トライアングル」そのものであったことを
そして次なる大いなる力の獲得に向けた壮大なプロローグでもあることを
再認識できる実に重要な回であります。

見逃すことなかれ。

「獣拳戦隊ゲキレンジャー」のDVD第5巻が登場です!!この巻には修行その17「ゴロゴロ!師弟愛」〜修行その20「ギチョギチョ!トライアングル対抗戦」までの4話が収録されています。ついにジャン/ゲキレッドにも師匠が…その名もシャッキー・チェン（声：石丸博也さん）!更に残りの拳聖、ゴリー・イェン（声：大友龍三郎さん）ピョン・ピョウ（声：草尾毅さん）ミシェル・ペング（声：田中敦子さん）も登場し正義の拳聖7人がそろいます!!そんな中臨獣殿との戦いでピンチになるゲキレンジャー…。ますます見逃せない戦いをお見逃しなく!!
