過去に、バンドのポテンシャル以上の傑作アルバムを作ってしまったり、大名曲を一曲作ってしまい、ファンにその幻影を追い求め続けられ、セルアウトしていく、バンドは数知れずですが、この怪作を作った、モーサムトーンベンダーは過去作を必ず越えてくる上、ファンの予想通り来ないと言う普通じゃ考えられない、バンドです。そうとう、しんどいんだろうなと容易に想像出来ます。もう頭打ち?状態の、プライマルスクリームよりも、よっぽど、エクストリームです。
今作を例えるならば、アンダーワールドの、ライブに、イギーポップと、プリンスが飛び入りで参加してきたような?もう、わけわかんないですが、兎に角クレイジーです。Birthdayの2ndや東京事変3rdに満足出来なかった方は是非!モーサム印?な、ガレージロックンロールもあり、実験的なポップもありで、最凶です。

モーサムとエレクトロニクスとの融合がここまで凄いとは・・。全ての曲が凄まじく狂ってます（笑

雷の音が轟く「INTRODUCTION」で始まり、語るように歌う「Bad Summer Day Blues」で盛り上がり、「Interlude #1」をはさんで、爆音疾走の「L.O.V.E」。「ルルル」は歌詞が面白い。笑えます。あの"ジャック”のその後が語られてるのも面白い。どこか懐かしい曲調の「パーティは続くよ」
ここでまた爆音で壊れ気味な曲「Young Lust」、なんだかほのぼのな「Interlude #2」をはさみ、
またもや爆音で始まる「エンゲルロージー」。
”僕らはもう帰れない”と繰り返す「Lost In the City」から、不穏な雰囲気を感じさる「PERFECT」。ぶっ壊れた疾走感の「ハラヒレ」。
ずっしり重たい「18(eighteen)」。
そして、"あの曲"をスロー再生したような奇妙な曲「SLOW PLAY」。

とにかくノれる曲が多く、最近のモーサムはおとなしくなったと思ってた人もきっと満足するはず。
「LIGHT,SLIDE,DUMMY」と「TRIGGER HAPPY」が合わさったような感覚でした。
次はどんな展開になるのか予測不能で驚きに溢れてるアルバムです。こんなに聴くのが楽しいアルバムは久しぶり。

一面真っ白で変なマークのついたジャケットも目を引くでしょう。
歌詞カードも密かにショッキングな内容。牛が・・・（笑

勇氏が全面的にしきり通した今作、アルバムの流れとしては過去最高ではないでしょうか?
トリガーハッピーだした後に思ったことは、こんだけ混沌としてくると、かいさ、、んの不安がよぎったのですが、、、
彼らは混沌としたまま転がり続けます(笑)
百々氏と勇氏がガチンコで創作する隣で筋トレにいそしむ武井、絶妙なバランスでモーサムは危険な空気を維持し続けるのです!
