この人達の魅力は、八王子のやんちゃ坊主が普通に立派に大人になり、一生活者としてのスタンスを崩さないまま、ヒップホップ/レゲエをJポップのフィールドにスルっと滑り込ませてしまった軽快な感じ、だと思う。しかしさすがにアルバムも5枚目ともなると、さりげないばかりじゃない。サウンド・デザインやあっさり感で言えばキャリア上最も洗練を極めつつ、冒頭の「スタート」からいきなりのエレクトロ/ブレイクス、シングル時点でも「こんなリアリティは今、ロックバンドには逆に表現できないのでは?」と思わせた「トレイン」、RYOさんの社会派な持ち味(お父さんとしてのリアル?)が炸裂する「VS」など、驚くべき挑戦が聴こえてくるのだ。しれっとした顔でこんなアルバムを作るケツメ、男を上げました!な感。(石角友香)

期待してなかったんですが、ほんと買ってよかったと思った一枚です。CMでおなじみの曲に加え「サマーデイズ」「ライフイズビューティフル」などはケツメらしさといえる詩の良さがあり「夢の中」はRYOJIさんの歌声とRYOさん大蔵さんのラップとmusicが聞いていて心地よくなる曲で、待ってましたって感じです!「君色」では今までにないケツメを味わえます☆上がる曲もありますが全体的にしっとり仕上がっているのではないでしょうか。何回もリピートしちゃってます。初期のケツメ好きでケツメ離れしてしまった人は是非聞くべし。また好きになれる一枚です。

俺的には、ケツノポリス１、２が好きで、３、４は売れ筋感あって音変わった気がして結構微妙だっただけに、今回あんまり期待してなかったけど何曲かは悪くないです。「恋の終わりは意外と静かに」なんかはリリックとかもケツメっぽい感じがでてて良かったです。「ケツメイシ工場」みたいなふざけたのとかも悪くないです。ただシングルカットの曲はやっぱり３，４のときみたくケツノポリス２の時を越えられない感が否めなったです。また、ちょっとアルバム全体に波が少ないですね。ふざける＆真剣の波っていうか。なので好きだけど厳しく３で。基本的にはHIP HOPらしいですが、「本物」のHIP HOPとかレゲエがどうとかって全く気にする必要なしです。「コアかじり」な人は線引きしたがるけど、問題はジャンルどうこうじゃなく、いい音を作る事だとおもうので。聞きたいもん、いいもんを聞けばいいですね。

今のケツメイシ スタイルが見せる最強の名盤です。最初全体を通して聞くと長く感じるかも知れません。でも数回聞いていくとハマります。間違いなく。
バラエティ豊かな曲が揃った今回は過去の名作・ケツノポリス 2に近い感じと思います。
