初めて三宅を見たのは８７年９月の日比谷野音。
RCの追加公演の前座で、『BACKしよう！』とゆう曲を延々２０分以上引っ張り、怒号が飛び交う中、終わった後も三宅はなかなかステージを降りようとしなかった。
そのふてぶてしさに惚れて、すぐにファンになってしまった。

今思えば、あれは、本当はシャイな三宅の、ずっと闘い続けるための"決意表明"だったんだな。

まさかあの時、２０年経って三宅がこんなプロフェッショナルな仕事をするとは思いもしなかったよ。

どの曲もとても温かく、力強い・・。
ネガティブなはずの言葉たちも、ずいぶんポジティブに耳に届いているような気がします。
特に、『びんぼうワルツ』とかMOJO CLUB時代の曲は一層感慨深いものがあります。

『SO-SO』は、原曲には確か清志郎の名前が作者のところにクレジットされていたと思うんですが・・記憶違いかな？
この曲なんか、昔は純粋にラブソングとして聴いていたけど、
いま聴くと男のエゴとゆうか、自分勝手な物言いだな・・とゆうのがよく判る。
でも、逆に「そう言って欲しい」みたいな心情が見え隠れして、また違った味わいがあります。
"愛されたい"と言うかね・・。

またいつか、ライブハウスの客席に飛び降りてギターソロを弾きまくる勇姿を見てみたいです。

このアルバムには、豪華アーティストが参加しています。
ヒロト、マーシー、友部さん、YO-KING。
まだまだ沢山のアーティストが
参加していますが、やはりボス　忌野清志郎とのコラボは圧巻です。
単純に２人のコラボを聴いただけで、涙目になってしまいそうですが、
とにかく楽しいアルバムです。参加アーティストが　のびのびと
楽しんでいる様子が垣間見れるような、そんなアルバムです。
聴き終った時、彼と知り合えた事を　本当に感謝してしまいました。

マジで買ってよかった。
