以前のCDと比べて音圧があがった分、クリアーで左右のバランスもはっきりしています。
アルバム導入部の大阪アキンドのセリフのSEのクリアーさに音質向上を実感しました。
このオープニングのSEは何回聞いてもニンマリします。このSEでもって、このアルバムから大阪の匂いをプンプンさせてきます。

アルバムはブルースやニューオーリーンズ・ジャズといった所謂ディープサウス系統の音楽です。
といっても、ドロドロとしたところはほとんどなく、大阪弁で歌う大阪やお金とか貧乏といった内容が全く違和感なくブルースにマッチしています。
決して聞きにくいことはないのに、なんでこんなに長い間、手に届かない状態（廃盤）だったのか不思議でたまりません。
歌良し、曲良し、演奏良しのこのアルバムはもっと見直されるべきだと思います。

ボーナストラックは、８９年版の解説にあった「１部もいいけど、２部もまたいい。」を
再現しているようです。最初の三曲は、１部のアコースティックセットから、
そして、続く３曲は、２部のバンドセットのファンキー大会から。
個人的には、アコースティックセットだけでもよかったな。アルバム本編の曲をLiveバージョンで聴いてみたかった。
あと、解説がないのがちょっと残念。


このアルバムを聞きながら、あの頃の道頓堀川はミシシッピー川に続いていたのだろうか…という思いに馳せます。

1000円の廉価盤で売っていたのが店頭から消えて久しいですが、ようやく
といった感じでのリマスター発売！。いや、ホントうれしい！。
早速、前のCDと聞き比べておりますが、全体的に音圧も上がってクリアに
なったなあという感じがします。また、当時のライブ音源がさりげなくボー
トラとして付いており、当時の雰囲気をリアルに伝えてくれています。
個人的には、チャーの1stやシュガーベイブとならんで70年代を代表する
名盤ではないかと思います。
ホントにさらっと、軽く凄いことやってる大名盤！ぜひ聴いてみてください！

LP,CDと聞き込んできて今回はおまけ付きでしかもたったの１５００円、これは買いでしょう。
昭和は良かったと思わせてくれる１枚だと思います。
