タイトル曲は、テクノポップな楽曲で、音やヴォーカルエフェクトも格好良く、メロディもキャッチーで佳作。中田ヤスタカ辺りの音と非常に近く、ああいった傾向の楽曲が好きな人にはオススメ。ただ、カップリング曲では、ヴォーカルの荒さやアレンジの中途半端さが感じられるのも事実。Perfumeがブレイクしつつある現在、その波に乗るか、単に二番煎じ的に取られて終わってしまうかは、今後周囲のスタッフの手腕にかかっているかもしれない。ビジュアルイメージ的にはある程度一定の層に支持され得るイイ感じだと思う。埋もれて消えていくことなく、上手くアイドルの一つの潮流を作れるくらいに頑張ってくれたら嬉しい。

　フルアルバムにも表題曲は収録されているんで、お馴染みの曲ですが、このシングルでしか聴けないLAVA’s Elect・rip Remixがお勧めです。エレクトロ全開のオリジナルの雰囲気をかなり変えた上でより楽曲の魅力が増しているという理想的なリミックスとなってます。

オーディションで6325人の中からグランプリに選ばれたAira Mitsukiのインディーズシングル。

歌声にエフェクトがかけられたテクノ・ポップです。

「カラフル・トーキョーサウンズ・NO.9」
PVも作られたこの曲はキャッチーでノリの良い、インパクトのある曲。

「キャンディーライト・モード」
シンプルな曲。カラフル〜と比べると印象は薄い。面白い曲だと思いますが何度も聴いていると飽きてしまう。

他に「カラフル・トーキョーサウンズ・NO.9」のリミックスを2曲、MP-3専用デジタル・マスタリングVer.、インストゥルメンタルを収録。

個人的には結構良いシングルだと思います。
