暗闇の中で一人ざわざわと不穏に揺れる心が、一筋の光に魅かれ、怯え、自分自身の影一つを拠り所として外界に出て行く……「プリズム」はそんなイメージの曲です。

NHK教育で放映のTVアニメのOPであるという事からも示される通り、この曲には毒は全くありません。にも関わらず、TVアニメ「電脳コイル」本編もそうなんですが、非常に怖い。私の中では勝手に、島みやえい子さんの「ひぐらしのなく頃に」「奈落の花」と同じ「こわ綺麗な曲」に分類されています。

ED「空の欠片」は、歌詞に込められたメッセージはほぼ「プリズム」と変わらないように思いますが、より直接的で、暖かいイメージになっています。「プリズム」は目にしみる透明な朝陽（あさひ）、「空の欠片」は包まれるような暖かい夕焼けという感じでしょうか。

イメージソング「旅人」は更に前向きで、抜ける青空のような、少年少女に捧げる爽やかな歌となっています。

プリズムもすてきな曲ですが「空の欠片」を是非たくさんの人に聞いてもらいたいです。すごくすごく感動しました。励まされます。こうゆう良い曲って埋もれてるんだなぁって思いました。

池田綾子さんの高域の澄んだ声が美しい。
OPも良いのですが、ED曲「空の欠片」もステキなバラードです。
心に沁みる優しい詞とメロディが素晴らしい。
磯監督と綿密に打ち合わせたとの事で、物語の鍵も隠されていそうです。
収録曲は「プリズム」「空の欠片」イメージソング「旅人」の３曲とインスト。
特典は要らない、という人は通常価格なこちらをオススメ。
