とても美しいメロディーと歌声、素晴らしい歌詞からなる作品だと思いました。 聞いていると、あきらめずにがんばれと勇気づけられると思います。 個人的には、「ねぇ 息を合わせたなら もっと高く飛べるはずさ」、「さあ 手を伸ばし 今、解き放とう 心は誰も縛れはしない 」というところがとても好きです。 hydeless versionを聞きこむことで、曲の美しさをより一層感じられます。 ぜひ感じてほしいです。

例えばこの曲を聞いてみて、「普通かな？」とか思った人は、お願いだから何度も聞いてみてほしいです。もちろん最初からあたしは感動したのですが、特に何度も聞くごとに味が出てくる曲なんです。歌詞にも目を通してみてほしい。雑誌でもhydeさんが言っていましたが、人間は何かしろ夢を持たずにはいられない生物だと思います。特に何かに向かって今頑張ってる人などは是非聞いてほしい名曲です。ＰＶも最高に感動します。やはり最後のけんちゃんとてっちゃんのコーラスにhydeさんが重なっていく感じが壮大な「夢」を描いていく感じがして、聞いた後爽やかな気持ちになれるでしょう・・

最近のアルバム"Awake"では、星空の「目覚めたなら　変わっているといいね」に代表されるように、悲劇的な運命や世界に対してやや受け身な姿勢が歌詞に感じられた。このシングル曲では"Awake"の詩世界を引き継ぎつつ、絶望あふれる世界の中に僅かでも希望を見出し、より高みに登ろうとする人々の（Hydeの？）前向きな意志がストレートに表現されている。


「この胸は夢を描くよ　どこまでも高く　自由に舞うのさ」

「降り立った彼方で目を開けたら　笑顔のままの君に会えるといいな」


結末がどうなるかわからなくとも、大切な人のために、逆境にめげず胸に描いた夢に向かって挑戦しようとする「人の心の力強さ」を歌った名曲。ラルクを知る人も知らない人も、好きな人も嫌いな人も、老若男女を問わず多くの人に聞いてもらいたい曲だなと思います。きっとなにかしら心に響くものがあるはずです。
