Akeboshiさんの曲を聴くようになってから、アイルランド音楽が好きになりました。詩に、オノエブンさんが参加したころから、日本語詩の歌は情緒感が増した気がします。英語の曲には訳詩がつくといいな。直訳しかできない自分が、情けない…。進化に進化を重ね続けて、素敵な歌を与えてくれるAkeboshiさん。新しい曲に会えるが楽しみです。

メジャー後の作品としては初の４曲構成のミニアルバムです。

前作のような一つの大曲こそないですが、
聴き終えたときの心地よさは「Akeboshi」以降では一番の出来だと思います。
サウンドは確実に進化させつつ、
且つインディーズ時代のアルバム全体で一つの作品、という統一感が復活しています。

懐かしさに目を閉じて身を委ねようとも、すぐに目が覚めてしまうような、
この「20分足らずの長さ」こそが彼の音楽性と魅力を最大限に引き出せる時間なのだと思います。

改めてフルアルバムでもマキシシングルでもなく、
この「４曲入り」こそが彼のベストスタイルであるのでは、と思いました。

1年4ヶ月ぶりの待ちに待った新作です！今までもとても良い曲ばかりなので今回も期待大です！1曲目に関してはホワイトメキシコのホームページで試聴してみました。Akeboshiさんらしい曲になっていると思います。発売まであと1ヶ月ですが、すでに1年以上待ったせいか長く感じませんね〜
