3年9ヶ月振りにリリースされたオリジナル・アルバム「Reflex」のリミックス・アルバム登場!

DJ Mitsu the Beats (Jazzy Sport)、Ken Arai (eighteen degrees.)、TURBO (GTS)、Cover Lover Project、
Kentaro Takizawa、Heigo Tani (Co-Fusion)、Masaru Iwabuchi from Astro


アーティストについて

●1997年、フォーライフレコードのオーディションに合格し上京。米軍横田基地にてレギュラーライブをスタートさせる
(日本人がパフォーマンスを行うのは27年ぶり)。その後、1998年にシングル「For me」でメジャーデビュー。
翌1999年にリリースしたシングル「Shake」がブレイク。DOUBLEの名が広く知られることとなり、2000年からはTAKAKO
のソロ名義にてDOUBLEの活動を開始。
2002年6月、両A面シングル「Driving All Night/You Got To」をリリース。 これがオリコンチャート初登場6位という快挙を
成し遂げ、その人気・実力を確固たるものとした。その後リリースした「Who's That Girl」もオリコンチャート初登場9位を
獲得し、2作連続でのベスト10入りを果たす。同年10月、2nd Album「VISION」をリリースしオリコン初登場3位を獲得。
続く2003年11月リリースの3rd Album「Wonderful」ではオリコンチャート初登場第4位を記録する。また2004年11月には
"R&B feat.JAZZ"と銘打ったアルバム「Life is beautiful」をリリースし、R&B/HIP HOPファンのみならず」JAZZファンをも虜に。
2005年11月、R&BにLATIN,RAGGAEを融合させた久々のアッパーチューン「ROCK THE PARTY」、2006年3月「Call Me」、
そして、7月には配信限定で「Emotions」をリリース。またこの時期にDOUBLEとは別名義の“DJ Lilly”としてDJデビューも果たす。
翌2007年4月「SPRING LOVE」、7月に同発で「SUMMERTIME feat. VERBAL」とDJ Lilly a.k.a. DOUBLE「virgin mix」(ユニバーサル
ミュージック流通)、そして8月8日には前作「Wonderful」より実に3年9ヶ月振り待望のアルバム「Reflex」をリリースし話題となる。

聴いてみてもいまひとつパンチが効いていないと言うかあまりパッとしない感じでガッカリです。リミックスだけで出すより（Reflex)のアルバムの中に入れてくれた方が良かったと思います。
ＣＤ２枚組みにした所で無駄な感じだし、豪華なDJが多数参加しているとしても、値段ももっと安ければ納得が出来たかも・・・
クラブにかけるんだったらいいと思うけどせめて更に新曲を出すとかして混ぜて欲しかったです。

リミックス盤に対する考え方は人それぞれあるかと思いますが、今回のリフレックスリミックスの出来はグレイテストリミックスシリーズでは過去最高の出来だと思います。ハウスシーンのみならずダンスミュージックシーンが成熟し、音色ひとつひとつのクオリティがあがり聞き応えのあるものになっています。リフレックスもそうですがリフレックスリミックスも最先端の音が聞けて尚且つ歌ものとしても聞き心地のいい日本では稀有な極上のアイテムだと思います。是非一度聞いてみたほうがいいと思います。
