アーティストについて

広島県出身。スピリチュアルな世界観が好きで、ギリシャ神話に出てくる知性の女神の名前をシンガー・ネームに。2005年10月、1stミニ・アルバム『ANSWER』にてインディーズ・デビュー。2006年5月、2ndミニ・アルバムMUSIC』発売。同時に1stミニ・アルバム『ANSWER』全国発売。2006年9月、ミニ・アルバム『WOMAN』でメジャー・デビュー。リード曲である「Mi strong woman」のPVは知花くららさんの出演でも話題を呼んだ。2007年1月、1stシングル「梅は咲いたか 桜はまだかいな」、2007年5月、2ndシングル「Respect!」、7月に3rdシングル「花鳥風月」をリリースし、満を持して1stフルアルバム「ONE LOVE」を8月15日に発売。

初めてMetisさんを知ったのは今年の情熱大陸Liveで歌声を聴いてから。
最初はハーフ？なんて思ってましたが歌声を聴いて、鳥肌・・・

今までなぜ彼女を知らなかったのか、不思議でなりませんでした。
すぐ情報収集をしてこのアルバムを購入させていただきました。

魂を感じます。
これからの活動も注目していきたいと思います。

学問の神様・菅原道真の子孫であるMetis
本格的なリリックを放つ新世代のDIVAと呼んでもいいすぎではない
もはやPUSHIMやMINMI、Keykoを押し上げるような勢い 『梅は咲いたか、桜はまだかいな』が受験生の応援歌としてFM音源からブレイクしたわけだが他の曲も聴く価値は大有り むしろ大衆に聴いてもらいたいものだ
『Respect』や『花鳥風月』などのシングル曲なども聴いて是非Metisの軌跡を確認してもらいたい

とりあえず、歌詞が素晴らしすぎます！！！
世界規模のメッセージ、確実に後ろから力強く背中を押してくれる言葉たち。
若いのに、凄すぎます。

「梅は咲いたか 桜はまだかいな」を聴いて、ちょうど今人生でそうないような大変な時期だということもあり、フツーに泣きました。Metisは絶対オレのことなんか知らないはずなのに、凄く近くで応援してくれているような気がして、歌で泣いたのは初めてです。

また、声もよく通り聴いていて心地よく、太くてまっすぐな幹のように芯があり、より歌詞の説得力が高まってます。レゲエって、早くて歌詞が聴き取りにくいんですが、彼女の歌はぜんっぜんそんなことないです。
ノリのよい曲、荘厳な曲、バラエティに富んでいて飽きません。

とりあえず、このアルバムの素晴らしさを、たくさんの人と共有したいと思い、勢いに任せてレビューしました。ちなみに、公式HPの視聴は当てになりません。フルで聴かないと意味がないです。迷ってる方も、迷ってない方も、一度手にとってみてください。押し付けじゃない、マスターベーションじゃない言葉にきっと皆さん何か思うことがあるはずです。
