実に５年ぶりとなるアナム＆マキのシングル。
ライヴでのアナム＆マキは、アコギの技術といいツイン・ヴォーカルの素晴らしさといい、
ほぼ無敵とも言える域に達していると思います（これはファンの贔屓目だけでなく、ライヴ
後に（予備知識なしに初めてアナマキを観たお客さんの）「すっげぇ〜カッコイー！」という
興奮気味の声からも実感として感じることができます）が、今回のこのシングルは（カップ
リングの「解き放て」も併せて）その片鱗を味わえる出来に仕上がっているように思えます。
３分ちょっとのコンパクトな楽曲の中にアコースティック系ギターデュオのエッセンスが凝縮
されており、アナム＆マキの魅力、そのカッコ良さをかなり効果的にアピールできているので、
聴く人がアナム＆マキの世界にフィットするかどうかのリトマス試験紙的に聴いてみても
いいと思います。
音楽に限らず何年か前から "癒し系" というゆる〜い感じが人気を博していますが、それに
物足りなさを感じ、アーティストが発信するサウンドにガッツリ正対し、耳から入ってくる圧倒
的な音楽性を受け止めることに充実感を感じるタイプのリスナーさんには、ワタクシ、是非
この盤で挑戦したいです（笑）。
