前作「ショパン&リスト:ピアノ協奏曲第1番」にて、一つの到達点を示したユンディ・リが、
今度は敬愛するアジアの同郷でもあり世界のマエストロ、小澤征爾との共演を実現させました。
小澤征爾+ベルリンフィル+ユンディ・リというまさに
夢の競演です。

ラヴェルのト長調はジャズの要素を取り入れた華やかで粋な作品。
プロコフィエフの第2番は初演時は聴衆に理解されず大混乱を引き起こした作品ですが、
一年後にこの曲を聴いたディアギレフはバレエ音楽の作曲を依頼したと言われています。

ユンディ・リと小沢によるプロコフィエフとラヴェル。もちろん大いに期待される顔合わせだが、聴く前まで実は不安があった。と言うのは、小沢が協奏曲を指揮するとき、オーケストラが時として極端に奥ゆかしくなるからである。例えばロストロポーヴィチと録音したドヴォルザークや、ツィマーマンと録音したラフマニノフがそうだった。その禁欲的とも言える指揮ぶりは、たしかに一つの方法とは言え、私には非常に「物足りなさ」を感じるものだった。聴いていて心の奥底まで響かない、なにか「ミニチュア版」を楽しむような趣だった。しかし、今回の私の不安はまったくの杞憂であった。この録音はピアノ、オーケストラともに実に素晴らしい。

ユンディ・リのピアノはちょっと前に出たリストとショパンの協奏曲よりスケールがあきらかに大きくなっている。まさに彼は急速に進化しているアーティストなのだ。プロコフィエフの第1楽章でメロディを支える和音の一つ一つの雄弁なニュアンスはとても深い。やや暗めの情緒も存分に出ていて聴き手を満ち足りた気持ちにしてくれる。カデンツァのたしかな技術を背景としたダイナミクスは圧倒的と言うほかない。終結部のオーケストラの迫力は慄然たるほど。2楽章以降の急速なシーンの弾きこなしも抜群の爽快感があり、ライヴならではの熱も存分に伝わってくる。

スタジオ収録されたラヴェルも秀演だ。ここでも小沢のタクトは絶好調で、この指揮者はプロコフィエフやラヴェルに抜群の相性を持っていると実感させられる。細やかな表情付けも思い切った演出も軽やかに決まる。もちろんピアノも抜群にセンスのいいソロで、ラヴェルはこうでないと、と納得させられる。ともかく、（私の）聴く前の不安も吹き飛んで、存分に楽しませていただいた一枚でした。

素晴らしい演奏だと思います。

難解なプロコフィエフの２番のコンチェルトを、
立派に演奏した秀演です。

小澤、ベルリン・フィルのサポートもかなり上手くマッチしていると思います。

ラベルもなかなかいい演奏です。

ユンディ・リの演奏は、初めて聴いたがキレがあり爽やかな印象をもった。巨匠小澤氏のリードのもと、曲の流れ・色彩感共に聴いていてとても気持ちがいい演奏だとおもった。また、録音も良く音の奥行き・広がり感共結構良い方だと思う。是非BLU−SPECKかSACDで聴いてみたいと思った。
