anferneeさんがレヴューで「群青」がThe Cureの「Friday I'm in love」に似ている、というので気になって聞いてみました。というのは「Friday I'm in love」は2、3カ月前、ラジオで「緑の風を感じる曲」ということで草野さん自らが紹介していた曲だったからです。聞き比べてみて、前奏のコード進行は似てるけど、メロディーは全然別物だし、「弁解の余地がないほど似てる」というのはちょっとちがうんじゃないかな。Cureの曲の方が洗練されてるし（笑）。でも、ちょっと野暮ったいバンドサウンドがスピッツのいいところで、私はそこがとても好きなので、星5つ。カップリングがまたすごい名曲。「君のそばにいたい/このままずっと/願うのはそれだけ/むずかしいかな」なんていわれたらどんな女の子もちょっと……。

今夏、遂に結成20周年を迎えるスピッツですが、全然色褪せていないですよね。
　今回の新曲『群青』はタイトルも素敵ですし、歌詞もメロディーも優しくて、
まったりとしていて大好きですね。
　久しぶりに胸がギュッとされた曲に出逢うことができました。

福田利之イラストジャケシリーズ第３弾スピッツシングル「群青」。
群青って、「ぐんじょう色」の「ぐんじょう」なのですね。
購入まで「ぐんせい」って読んでました。スイマセン…
この曲も、かつてのスピッツに帰った胸キュンな傑作です。
シングル曲もたまってきましたし、そろそろですか２０周年記念アルバムは！！
期待していますよ。
ところで今回の福田さんのジャケイラストは、着ぐるみマンですか〜〜〜。
