今までのメジャー曲はダーク系が大半以上だった川田まみさん。
インタビューだと「赤い涙」でも新たな一面を見せたらしいですが、
今回はかなりメジャーの川田まみの印象を変える曲だと思います。

まず『Get my way!』
この曲はハヤテのごとく！のED。もう聴いた方も多いと思います。
今までとは違うテンポ。そして歌詞。今までの川田まみを貫いたような気がします。
最初フルで聴いた感想は"バンドっぽい"という雰囲気が漂う曲だと思いました。
実際PVでもバンド形式で演奏してる面もあります。
そして、その演奏時間の短さ（2:57）にも"バンドっぽい"印象を与えます。
よーく耳を澄まして聴いてると高瀬さんらしい音源が雑じってたりして、"やっぱり高瀬アレンジだなー"と思う節も。
川田まみさんというと、中沢氏の楽曲が多いですが、やっぱりI'veの顔の高瀬氏が出てくるとまた違う一面が見えるな、と感じました。

続いて、C/Wの『青空と太陽』
こちらはインタビューでは「親への感謝の気持ち」を綴った曲になってるらしいです。
実際歌詞にもそういう点は伝わってくるし、"かなり詞の世界観が上達したな"とも思いました。（KOTOKOさんには敵わないけど）
Get my way!とは逆のやさしい雰囲気漂うゆったり目な曲調。この感じは今までも幾つかあったと思います。

I'veではおなじみの"ダーク"でも"トランス"でもない、"ロック"な曲、そして最近増えてきた"ポップ"な曲の2面性を楽しめる作品だと思います。

是非お勧めしたい1枚です！

追記（8/16）
PVに関して触れてなかったので。
最近のI'veにしてはちょっと微妙かな…と思いました。
あと、KOTOKOさんのみたいに映像特典がついてないもの痛いところ。
曲は（メジャー曲として捉えれば）いい線いってるんですが。

最近のI've soundの特徴でしょうか、曲は聴きやすいライトポップチューン。
それに合わせて川田まみにしては比較的短いフレーズの中に詞を詰め込んであるため
なにかこう、彼女一人がタッタッタっと軽やかに疾走していって、
ちょっと聴く側が追いついていけてないような、そんな印象を受けました。
でもふと思うのが今回のような曲が肌色が異なる、と感じるということは、
彼女のアイデンティティはやはりシリアスナンバーにあるという認識。
シリアスナンバーあってこそこういった曲も映えるのかなと思いました。

この曲を聴いたとき、いい意味で期待を裏切られた感じでした。

アップテンポな曲でもどこかしっとりとした印象の曲が多かった彼女ですが、今回のGet my way!では思わず体がリズムを刻むような、新しい一面を見せてくれています！
アルバムSEEDのときもさまざまな雰囲気の曲を見事に歌い上げ、その才能を遺憾なく発揮していましたが、まだまだ私たちの期待のさらに上をゆく魅力を見せてくれそうです。

特典のDVDですが、Get my way!のPVが入っているだけで、メイキングやコメントなどが入ってないので、個人的にはちょっと物足りない感じ。
値段のことを考えるとこのボリュームが限界なのか・・・？

DVDの内容とこれからの彼女のさらなる飛躍を期待して、あえて評価は星4つで。
