初めてJakeのアルバムを買いました。
バンド、ソロともに収録されていて、まさにベストという感じです。
私はソロが気に入りました。
自然にハワイを思い出させてくれます。

一人の夜のお供って感じでしょうか。
やさしい、軽やかなメロディーラインで疲れた頭を癒してくれます。

夏の夜、ちょっとほっとしたいときにお勧めです。

初収録曲も多いですが、大半は代表曲を集めたベスト盤です。どの曲も、Jakeの卓越した演奏テクニックと、ウクレレならではのやさしい軽やかな音色とメロディが堪能できます。In My LifeやGoing to California、Time After Time等のカバーもいいですが、やはりオリジナルがいいですね。Jakeのメロディセンスがいかんなく発揮されています。
ベスト盤ということで、いろんな面が見れるのはいいのですが、アルバムとしてのまとまり感はあまりありません。他のアルバムはDragonしか聞いていませんが、アルバム全体として見ると、Dragonの方が好きです。でも、個々の曲はどれもすばらしいので星は5つにしました。ウクレレに対する見方が変わります。
