Album Details

2007 two CD set featuring Loudon's three albums recorded for Columbia. After two albums with Atlantic, Loudon signed with Columbia and released his third album in 1972, curiously titled 3, which featured his only Top 40 hit, 'Dead Skunk'. The album Attempted Moustache followed in 1973 and the half live Unrequited in 1975, which ended Loudons association with CBS. Acadia.

2007 Digitally Remastered Issue of the Great Authentic American Singer/Songwriter's Three Albums Recorded for Columbia Records in the Early 1970's Compiled to a Double CD Set. "Album Iii" from 1972 Yielded Wainwright with his Only Top 40 Hit Single, the Novelty Song "Dead Skunk", Produced by Thomas Jefferson Kaye and Engineered by Brooks Arthur. "Attempted Moustache" Followed in 1973, Produced by Bob Johnston. The Self-produced, Half Live "Unrequited" from 1975 Capped Wainwright's Tenure on the Label and features "Rufus is a Tit Man".
