GARNET CROWのギタリスト、岡本仁志さんが務めるラジオ番組で発売に先駆けてオンエアされているこの曲、「涙のイエスタデー」は爽快でかつなんだか懐かしい気持ちにさせてくれるさすがガーネットクロウといった風な曲とラジオで聞いていて思いました!!
岡本さんいわく、CDのジャケットからもわかるように昭和のレトロな感じを出したのだとか。
イエスタデーといえばビートルズ、それも意識したとも語っていました。
今作のタイアップは名探偵コナンのオープニングテーマに決定!!なんとデビュー時の「Mysterious eyes」のオープニング起用以来約7年ぶりだそうです!!

正直言えばインパクトもなにもない普通の曲なんだけど
さすがはGARNET CROW。完成度の高い仕上がりだ。職人芸とでも呼ぼうか。
なんだけどもう少しダークな曲の方が彼らには似合ってると思う。
まあそういうコアなファンはカップリングで楽しみましょうか(笑)
今回のカップリングも2曲ともいいですよ。特に『Go For It』。名曲だなぁー。

コナンファンなので最初はオープニングで聴きましたが、夏らしくて凄く良いと思います。
爽やかなメロディと対照的な中村さんのボーカルが逆に良い！
ＯＰの絵ともよく合っていて、レトロさも可愛いＣＤだと思いますよ。
