本作はANGRAのDrアキレス・プリースターがリーダーを務めるグループHANGARの３rdにして本邦デビュー作である。これまでにも２枚の作品をリリースし、過去の作品と同様にテクニカルなパワーメタルを披露している。Drがリーダーを務めるだけあって、アキレスのテク全開といった叩きっぷりは圧巻だ。テクニカル且つアグレッシブでただ速い曲が網羅されているだけではないのはこれまでと大きく変わらないが、本作からVoがチェンジしており、前任者はジェフ・テイトばりのハイトーンの持ち主であったのに対して、新Voは凄まじいまでの声量でもって中低域をメインにパワフルに歌い上げるタイプだ。
肝心の音楽性はというと、先にも書いた様にテクニカル且つアグレッシブであり、ANGRAの様なメロディアスなメタルを想像すると肩すかしを食らうことは間違いない。もっとも、以前アキレスはインタビューでもメロディアスなパワーメタルにスラッシュメタルを上手く融合したものを目指したいといった旨のことを言っており、まさに本作はそれを具現化したものといっていいだろう。またジァケットの内側に腐乱死体の写真をコラージュするなど、雰囲気からしてヘヴィな内容となっている。
今のところ、アキレスにしてもファビオにしてもANGRAがメインで忙しくしているため、ワールドワイドでの安定した活動は難しいかもしれないが、もしかしたらこちらがメインになってしまうかもと思わせる位に充実した内容だ。

あのANGRAの凄腕ドラマー、アキレス・プリースターが率いるブラジルのメロディック・スピード・メタル・バンド。疾走型のメロディックメタルで、シンガーの声質がエドゥ・ファラスキに良く似ている事もあって、どうしてもANGRAの音楽を想起させるが、ANGRAの持つラテン風味の民族色は薄く、より正統派メタル的と言えるかもしれない。なんといっても楽曲が秀逸で捨て曲らしきものは殆ど見当たらない。アキレスのドラムも相変わらず凄まじい。おすすめ！
