「春のめざめ」「老人と海」にはまった方、ぜひオススメします。
というか、私はこちらの方が断然点数が高いです。密度が違います。
監督第一作の「雌牛」で既にアカデミー賞ノミネート。
ロシアの農村の土と人、そして牛を詩情豊かに、ガラス板と油絵の具を素材にした
画面作り、光の巧みさはタルコフスキー作品も彷彿させます。
ドストエフスキーの短編も、この為に大学で二年間改めて学んだだけに
濃密に凝縮された作品への世界観が「見事」の一言。
ドストエフスキーの映像作品化の中でも屈指の出来映えではないでしょうか。
「マーメイド」の民話を下敷きにしながら、人生観、宗教観まで昇華された
手腕は芸術映画作品としてしっかり独立した作品。
どれも短編という印象ではありません。
「春のめざめ」本命で入手しましたが、ごめんなさい。
こちらの方が、いつまでも手元に置きたい宝物になりました。
フレデリック・バックを好きな方は当然観ることをオススメします。
ロシア文学、ロシア映画、そして絵画が好きな方など、見ないという法はありません。
正直、買うときには悩みましたが、これを手にして本当に良かった！
