仕事でちょっとした音楽を探したりするときに結構重宝しています。
他のレビューにも書かれている通り、曲はサビの部分だけが入っているのですが、
そのおかげで名前が思い出せない有名曲や雰囲気に合いそうな作曲者を当て所なく探すときに
CDを聞きながら探すよりもずっと便利。個人的には実用的なので満足しています。

このソフトは自分のような超初心者が曲と音楽家の名前やウンチクをダイジェストで見ながら
興味を持てるクラシックタイトルやCDを探すのにはすごく便利です。
でもずっとクラシックが流れる携帯プレイヤー風ではないみたいなんで、それを期待するとけっこう違うかも。
あと、画面でくつろぎまくる犬は妙に可愛い。

作りは実にシンプル。
ランダムに曲のサビの部分が流れて、それにまつわることが「ウンチク」として紹介されている。
曲名や作曲者名だけでなく、肖像写真、生まれた家やポスター、お墓、像なども写真で紹介される。
コラムとして、音楽用語には解説が載っている。

ウンチククイズで、音楽の知識を深められるコーナーもある。

曲の検索の仕方もやりやすい。
「作曲者」「演奏形態」「シチュエーション」「キーワード」に分かれている。
例えば「シチュエーション」なら「１日の始まり」「バリバリ仕事中」「癒されたい」など１７種類ものシチュエーションに分かれていて、見つけやすい。
個人的には、こんな曲があるのか、聞いたことあると感心している。

とにかく、クラッシック初心者でクラッシックに触れてみたい人には最適である。

　すでに音楽ＣＤでは、ボックスやベストセレクションなどでクラシックを楽しむことができますが、
「では、ＤＳでクラシックを聴くなら何ができるの？」といえば、
１．一度は聴いたことがある音楽を聴いて、その場で作曲した人物について知ることができる。
２．まんべんなく一般的な曲をある程度知る・聴くことができる。
などでしょうか。
　
　ＤＳのタッチペンからクラシックの世界（ある程度選ばれた作曲家・曲）を知ることができます。
　
　曲がまるまる最後まで入っていれば尚！ですが、レンタルＣＤやituneを利用する前の参考としても良いと思います。
