私はモンハンシリーズを始めてプレイしたんですが…

とにかくムズい!!

敵が非常に強いです。
どのボスモンスターも一筋縄ではいかず、何度も負けた後でようやく勝てるようになります。

一体のモンスターの攻略にそれなりの時間を要します

なので じっくりゆっくりゲームをプレイする人

アクションゲームに自信がある人にはオススメです。

確かに敵は強いですが、面白い事も確かです。

何より 絶対に勝てないんじゃないかと思うほどの強敵を倒した時の達成感は格別です。

買うなら 覚悟すべきでしょう。

個人的な意見です。
アイテム集めに挫折しました。とにかく時間と根性が必要です。
9時間プレイしてレベルとしては低めの兜が1個だけできました。
これはセンスの問題ですが（笑）

ちょっとだけ進めようと一時間やっても進みません。
欲しいアイテムを狙っても、中々取れません。
時間が無い方は無理です。
例を出すなら、
武器を作成するのに、1ミッション30分ほどで1個手に入るか入らないかのアイテムが5個とか必要です。
欲しい武器のレベルが上がれば難易度（所要時間）はさらに上がります。

また結構操作が難しく、リアルと言えばリアルなのですがセンスがないと難しいでしょう。
間違ってもアクション系ゲームの括りで、三国無双などと一緒にしてはいけません。
ごり押しで勝てるほど敵も甘くありません。

しかしながら、アイテムの調合や武器の作成などやりこみ要素もたっぷりです。
釣り、料理、自宅の改築（？）、また敵にあわせた戦略を練るなどなかなか自由度も高く楽しいのも事実です。

要は続けられるか、無理かの違いです。
続けて沢山の装備を作ることができれば、その苦労の分の愛着が湧くゲームでしょう。

シリーズ化されカプコンの目玉商品の一つに
駆け上がったモンスターハンタードスの安価版
巨大なモンスターを攻撃を見切りスキをみて倒す！！
カプコンらしいダイナミックなゲームですが、料理に
例えると大味な感じですね。深みが無いといいますか、
最初は四苦八苦して巨大モンスターを倒す達成感がありますが、
装備を整えるのに同じ敵を倒したり鉱脈を堀り続けたりと
反復作業が多いのも･･･

またオンラインを利用するプレイヤーとそうでないプレイヤーでは
優遇度がかけ離れてます。（ゲームバランスがちょっとおかしい）
オンラインをプレイするのであれば、なかなか楽しめるソフトだと思います。
