昨日のＣＤ発売に合わせて、地元福岡の番組で彼らの特集が組まれました。
その番組で、初めて彼らを知りました。
福岡には、”昭和”という有名なライブハウスがあります。
文字通り、昭和時代のフォーク全盛期に、沢山のシンガーを世に送り出した由緒ある場所です。
番組の受け売りですが、そこで彼らの父もプロを目指した時期があったそうです。
夢を抱え、妻と息子を連れ上京するも、現実には勝てず、又、福岡に戻ってってきたとか。
そして、彼の息子が今、その想いを受継ぎ、平成の世で父の想いを実現すべく頑張っています。
二人のギター歴は３年足らず。師匠は父。
でも、この曲を聴いたら、彼らのギター歴がそんなに浅いなんて信じられないくらい、上手いです。
そこには、今、病と闘う父に、学び急ぐかの様に、真剣に取り組む二人の姿があるから。
新しいけど懐かしい。そんな素敵なＣＤです。

博多の兄弟デュオです。これがデビューとは思えないほどの曲でした。
ひとつひとつの言葉が素敵なメロディーと共に胸にストンと入ってきます。
フォーク世代の方には懐かしさを、若い方には新鮮な響きを。
ぜひ、聴いてみて下さい。
