メロディーラインの美しさと心地よさで柔らかくなった心に、
詞の温かさと深さがダイレクトに伝わってきます。
今回はこれまでと少し違ったテイストと感じる曲もあり、
全体にとても骨太な印象。
Caravanのchallenging spiritと覚悟みたいなものを感じる
新アルバムです。

イチオシは「Magic」
私はシングルで買って聴いたのですが、
ＣＤを聴いて泣いたのは、この曲が初めてでした。
押し付けがましい言葉なんて何もなくても、
本当に伝えたい気持ちがあれば、
こんなに通じるんだ、と。
後半のハーモニーの美しさや、メッセージの強さが
心に響く１曲です。

きっと大切な宝物になる１枚です。

ゆったりとした、でも緩急のある演奏とリズムで奏でられる
ブルースアルバムの見本とでも云うべき傑作である。

まず詞がいい。あまりにも普通の感想だが、歌詞カードを読まずとも
歌を聴いているだけで詞のよさが伝わる。｢伝えたい言葉がはっきりと伝わる歌」というか、
歌いまわしというか。人肌のぬくもりがダイレクトに伝わる感じもするし、
個人的な見解だと｢歌心あってのCaravan」という感じがする。
ありきたりな言い方をすると「魂のブルース」という。（安易な表現で申し訳ない）
でもCaravanの音楽は複雑なものは一切なく限りなくシンプルだ。
その意味では聴いた人もシンプルで楽しい感想を持つのではないだろうか。

ただ楽観的ではなく、今を生きる歌を真剣に、かつラフに歌っている印象。
力を入れすぎず、力を抜きすぎず、絶妙なバランスを保っており、
こと演奏に関してもそれは云えるだろう。「blue」の人生に向き合うようなシリアスさを
見せたかと思えば「gasoline blues」のような楽しくなる曲調と演奏。
この「緩急の付け方」に関してはいい業を持ってると思う、この人は。

唯一ついえるのはCaravanの音楽は気楽に生きるための音楽ではなく、
しっかりと自分に向き合い、人生を彩るための音楽という気がする。
重くなりすぎず、軽くなりすぎないこの世界に触れてみて欲しい。
もしかしたら人生の鍵（Key of Life）の一つに成り得るかもしれない。

Caravanの音楽はシンプルで温かくて、心に響く。奏でるギターサウンドも声もすべて。
誰かが書いていたけど、「歌詞を読まなくても、すーっと心に伝わってくる」、まさに。

夏の空の下で聞きたい曲もあれば、秋のちょっと肌寒い道の上で浸りたい気分の時に
口ずさむ曲も。

シンプルでブルース。Caravanの音楽、おすすめです。
