2006年9月22日、日本武道館。EXILEの新メンバーを募集すべく行われた全国オーディション「EXILE Vocal Battle Audition 2006 ~ASIAN DREAM~」のファイナリスト(最終審査)として選出されたJONTE(ジョンテ)は、その日13,000人のオーディエンスの見つめるステージに立ち、歌声を披露した。
最終的に栄光を掴むには至らなかったものの、彼が見せたそのパフォーマンスは、新たなる可能性の到来を確信せずにはいられない、そんな輝きを放ち、オーディエンスそして関係者に対しても強くその存在をアピールする結果となった。
人びと誰もが感じる「切なさ」を持ち前の卓越した歌唱力で伝えていく。

ＥＸＩＬＥのボーカルバトルオーディション2006で、おしくも涙をのんだＪＯＮＴＥ。
そのＪＯＮＴＥが最初に出したシングルです。初めこのＣＤを買った時聞く前にたいしたことないかな、と思いました。しかし聴いていたら涙が出てきました。歌がうまいんです！
さすがオーディションで最後まで残ったＪＯＮＴＥ！これからもがんばって

EXILEのCD/DVDせっと販売の「LOVE」を購入して、JONTEの存在を知りました。武道館の大観衆の前で静かに熱唱する、その歌唱力と成りは視聴者を呑み込みます。何度も何度も繰り返して聞いています。久々に巡り合ったと言えるアーチストだと思います。
