長さ40cmほどある2本の棒（ハンドスティック）の間に付いたヒモ（長さ150cm前後）の上で大型のヨーヨーのような本体（ディアボロ）を巧みに操ることにより、ヒモに乗せた「ディアボロ」を回したり、投げ上げたりと、色々なテクニックが楽しめるダイナミックなアイテム。元来は中国で生まれた曲技だが、今日では世界中のジャグラーによって演じられている、最もポピュラーなジャグリングの1つとなっている。本体は軟質のプラスチックを使い、適度な弾力を持たせてあるから、危険度も少なく、大きさ、重さともバランスの取れた製品。また、操り方の基本はもちろん、「空中への投げ上げ」・「ヒモを登る」・「ジェットコースター」等々、色々な応用テクニックを多数のイラスト入りで解説したテキストブック付きだから、初級者から上級者までどなたにもご満足いただける。

この商品は、こまが小さく子供向けといった商品でしょうか。
ちょっとだけやってみようとおもって買う分ならいいと思いますが、ディアボロを本格的に始めたいとおもってこれを買うのはちょっと薦められません。
私は、本格的にやろうとおもって専門店で買おうとおもったのですが値段がちょっと高かったので、それよりも安いこのディアボロを買いました。最初のうちは十分楽しめましたが、段々こまのねじが弱まってしまったり地面に当たると傷つきやすかったりして、やはり、耐久性が若干乏しい感じがしました。結局、RADFACTOR（専門店）さんで購入することにしました。
本格的に練習を始めるなら専門店で買うのがいいと思います。
逆にちょっとだけやってみようとおもってかうなら、こまは小さいけれど、誰でも十分楽しめるとおもいます。
